Project Manager

Due to an increase in workload within their Rail sector, our client, a major provider of support to Network Rail seek to secure the services of a Project Manager to oversee a number of projects within the Essex and Anglia regions. The works will range from £250k up to £2m in value and will include Bridge Refurbishments, Embankment Stabilisations, Station upgrades and also MEP works. The day to day duties will include overseeing a number of projects and making sure they are run to time and also safely and to budget. You will be tasked with producing the relevant paperwork including WPPs, Task Briefings etc, Authorising any Plant and Material purchases and undertaking regular site audits and walk arounds with the client and senior management from within the Organisation.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering and will have ICI/PTS along with SMSTS to their name. You will also have proven experience within the Rail sector overseeing similar schemes with recognised Main Contractors. In return, the successful individual will be rewarded with a competitive day rate and long term contract which could span over a year with the possibility of permanent if both parties are happy with this.
