Due to up and coming projects within their Water sector, our client, a rapidly expanding Civil Engineering and Utilities Contractor are seeking to secure the services of Site Agents to support Water contracts in Cornwall.
Projects include installation/refurbishment and renewal of pipelines, sewers and pumping stations with works ranging from £500k up to £5m in value.
Daily duties will include Site Set Up, RAMs, Task Briefings, Ordering Plant & Materials, Reporting and attending regular meetings with Senior Management and Stakeholders.
To be considered for these roles, you will hold a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering and hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification to your name. You will have Civil Engineering experience to your name and ideally Water also gained within the Main Contracting environment.

Supervisor
Our client, a top 10 Contractor in the UK has the need for a Streetworks Supervisor to join their team working on Station Upgrades in Birmingham.
The projects involve Capacity Improvement works with specifics including new Waiting Rooms and Ticket Halls, Platform Extensions, Footbridge Replacements and External works.
They are moving onto works outside the Station and therefore seek a Supervisor to oversee Paving, Access Roads, Safety Bollards, Drainage works and Street Furniture/Lighting with duties including overseeing Sub Contractors and labour, health & safety, Issuing permits to dig and regular reporting.
To be considered for this role you MUST hold Chapter 7 NRSWA certification along with SSSTS and CSCS. You will also have proven experience in the above areas gained w reputable Contractors.

Administrator
Due to an increase in workload within their Highways division, our client, a major UK Civil Engineering Contractor are looking to secure the services of an Administrator to join their team based from their Abingdon offices near Oxford.
The works they undertake are Highways maintenance projects with daily duties including filing and uploading information onto their system arranging meetings and taking notes, answering calls, putting invoices onto spreadsheets and other daily duties.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience in Administration, ideally within the Construction/Civils sector although this is not essential. You will have solid IT skills and excellent personal skills.

Materials & Methods Engineer
Our client, a world renowned Main Contractor within the Infrastructure sector are looking to secure the services of a Materials and Methods Engineer for a major scheme they have in North Wales which is valued at over £350m and includes Tunnelling and Civils works.
Duties associated with this role include:
- Review the requirements outlined in the Works Information.
- Assess the specification and design concerning environmental and sustainability constraints, and their integration into material requirements.
- Provide guidance on necessary deviations, value engineering, and amendments to requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate the materials specifications, ITP requirements, and approvals for specialist supplier materials (MAF).
- Cooperation and advice of the environmental carbon team to meet carbon targets.
- Review and refine delivery strategy and logistic constraints for concrete, earthworks and other bulk materials.
- Review and detailed definition of testing facilities on-site/off-site.
- Review and refine the testing procurement strategy; provide support in selecting subcontractors and developing contracts.
- Develop templates for testing and technical assurance.
- Review and advise on technical assurance requirements, procedures, templates, and documents for the project.
- Engage with the supply chain and subcontractors, and support the engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
To be considered for this role you will have the below:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a related science field, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in material testing and manufacturing assurance is advisable.
- Experience in Civil, MEP, and High Voltage construction methods is required.
- Qualifications under the CSCS Card system are advisable.
- Familiarity with Electronic Management Document Systems (EDMS), such as Themis, ProjectWise, Aconex, BIM360.

Highways Project Manager
My client are now looking to hire a Freelance Project Manager in their Eastern Region to work on Roads and Highways infrastructure schemes in Suffolk.
Main Duties for the Project Manager:
- Management of site staff, operatives and sub-contractors.
- Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plans.
- Understand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgets.
- Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
- Foster good relations and reputation with clients.

Proecurement Manager (Water)
