I am currently searching for an experienced Senior Technical Services Manager on behalf of a well established London based Fit Out Contractor who specialise in Commercial Office Cat A and Cat B Fit Out and Refurb Projects across London and the surrounding areas.

Document Controller

Solution recruitment are currently assisting a number of leading M&E contractors based in London and home counties.

We currently require a document controller to work on a large construction project near Hemel Hempstead

Salary up to £45k+package

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with compiling powerpoint presentations for safety and QA
  • Updating and management of digital signage
  • Prepping tender submissions for small projects
  • Document control on specific projects as required, folder set up and annual updating of site documents and procedures
  • Assist sites with setting up and implementing client doc control platforms (e.g Eida, Fusion, 4Project, Asite etc)
  • Attend Safety, Commercial and QA meetings, keeping MOM and distributing them
  • Monitor LMS training
  • Monitor Safety and QA training
  • Assist with GRN process and liaising with accounts when required
  • Weekly time sheets for specific sites, monitoring and reporting absenteeism and time keeping
  • Manage Safety awards and incentives and monitors stats
  • Assist with procurement on projects, liaising with suppliers and training providers
  • Assist projects prepping and compiling handover documentation
  • Liaise with client on entertainment/social events.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in an administration role within the construction environment would be an advantage.
  • Experience with AConnex and Asite softwares essential
  • Strong IT comprehension and ability to use MS Office Suite

Electrical Tester

Solution Recruitment are assisting a well known Main Contractor that due to an influx in work, would like to fine 2 x Permanent Electrical Testers (fixed wire) based in Peterbough.  An excellent opportunity for someone that has the aspirations to become a manager.

This an excellent opportunity to work for a big name in Construction.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  • Electrical fixed wire testing and maintenance up to 230v
  • Correctly complete the relevant certifications (EICRs), follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information
  • Accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions
  • Completion of remedial works following testing and inspection
  • There may be electrical installation work required from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Fully qualified electrician
  • Extensive knowledge of testing electrical installations
  • Ability to competently complete EICRs
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferable, but not essential.
  • There may be out of hours work from time to time.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • City and Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3)
  • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671, 18th Edition 2391/52 is essential
  • Full UK driving license.

We are currently working with a large well known, highly respected MEP Building Services Consultancy who are seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their office in the East End of London.

The business is seeking a highly experienced engineer who technically strong as well as having project leader experience to lead the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate considerable specialist knowledge in a discipline of engineering with awareness and understanding of other disciplines.
  • As an experienced engineer, take the lead responsibility for co-ordination between the disciplines within the office and to the external consultants.
  • Organise junior and CAD staff to achieve engineering solutions within agreed time scales.
  • Assist Associate/Director in the production of fee proposals including additional services and fees.
