Site Engineer

Our client, an award winning Regional main Contractor who turn over in excess of £300m seek to secure the services of a Site Engineer who can go between multiple sites in the Essex region. The works will range from £500k up to £5m in value and include Roadworks, Structures, Drainage, Piling and Earthworks schemes so it is a nice variation of works.

The day to day duties will be to provide Engineering support to the sites including Setting Out, QA, Overseeing Sub Contractors, Assisting with site paperwork and answering technical queries. To be considered for this role, you will ideally have an HNC in Civil Engineering and have solid all round Civil Engineering experience gained within the Main Contracting environment. You will also have CSCS to your name as a minimum with SSSTS and First Aid beneficial but not essential.

You MUST also be prepared to travel and have your own car and valid driving licence as you will be required to visit differing sites within reasonable distance. In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a top day rate and long term freelance contract.
