Based in a vibrant office the H.Q of a permanent Constriction Development company with large Accounts Department this fast paced and exciting company require an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a contract basis with the strong possibility of the role moving to a permanent staff position
This role will include the following duties and responsibilities so you must have experience of working within the same or very similar role:
- Capable and highly efficient in processing purchase ledger invoices across multiple companies
- To ensure the invoices are uploaded to the correct company, including entering complete and accurate information to enable payments to be made to the correct suppliers
- To ensure purchase ledger inbox is managed and file invoices into their relevant folders
- To ensure supplier queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally
- Actively investigate and follow up purchase ledger queries with suppliers and business
- Engaging with suppliers and other departments with the business to resolve queries
- Responsibility for processing Personal expense claims
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with queries
- Costing of invoices from the purchase ledger workflow
- Adhering to the company policies and procedures
- Providing support to the Purchase Ledger Manager and team on ad-hoc projects
