DESIGN MANAGER

One of our clients, a world renowned Main Contractor within the Civil Engineering sector have recently been given a new tender for a project which involves extending an existing hydro station to increase its capacity.

The chosen individual will manage the design consultants during the tender. This will include management of the cost and programme and review of consultant’s submissions with the ultimate aim of providing the Client with highest quality submission at a competitive price.

To be considered for this role, you will have wide-ranging understanding and working knowledge of construction methods and outputs and can coach others. You will have spent 12 months completing designs as part of a consultancy or temporary works design department. You will also have both substantial construction and design experience and ideally Tunnelling experience to your name.

In return, a top day rate which is Outside IR35 is on offer along with an immediate start and to be based at Paddington.
