Chris Murphy

With a recruitment career spanning over 15 years, Chris Murphy has a no nonsense, direct and honest approach. Chris has a passion for ‘training and development’ and was solely responsible for Solution’s IIP Accreditation, as well as looking after all the office systems.

Outside of work dedication, Chris is a family man. He is married with 3 children and has a keen interest in his home and garden. A round of golf and socialising with friends is high on his personal agenda.

2006 to Present

A Founding Director with a passion for recruitment at all levels. Working within the Building Services Design arena of the Construction Industry. Involved from inception to completion on detailed assignments for large prestigious and boutique practices across the UK and the rest of the world.

Aside from running a successful part of the business, other areas that Chris is responsible for include Investors in People accreditation and the training and development of Solution staff. Chris also manages all office systems including IT, telephones and the general running of the office.

Eden Brown Recruitment – Senior Consultant

2002 to 2006

Employed as a specialist recruitment professional running a Contract HVAC, Public Health & Fire Engineering desk supplying professional freelance and permanent professionals to Building Services

Design practices across London & the South East of England.

Joining in 2002 as a Senior Consultant Chris continued offering his clients a straight forward solution to their recruitment/resourcing needs by running a contract HVAC, Public Health & Fire Engineering desk covering London and the South East.

Chris quickly progressed to Senior Advance Consultant from achieving Sales, continued Training and meeting all internal Targets as part of their quality assurance process. Within a further six months,

Chris was promoted to Principal Consultant (one of a few who had reached this title within the London office). After giving more than 3 years’ successful service to clients and candidates alike and his personal reputation as a reliable, transparent consultant, Chris decided to leave and became the Founding Director of Solution Recruitment in January 2006.

Henry Recruitment Ltd – Consultant – Team leader

1996 to 2002

Running a Building Services Design Desk proving Building Services Design practices & Design & Build Contractors with Design Engineers & Cad Staff across all levels throughout the UK.

Chris’s recruitment career started in 1996 with a small Technical agency where he was running a Building Services Design desk for permanent and contract engineers and CAD Staff. Progressing quickly within this agency, his skills and knowledge developed allowing him to gain experience of the Building Services Contracting fields.

After nearly six years and a promotion to Team Leader, Chris decided to move on to one of the largest most reputable Technical Agencies who specialise within Building Services Design recruitment across the UK (now part of the Hamilton Bradshaw Human Capital group of companies).
