SITE MANAGER / DELIVERY AGENT
A well-established, family-owned utilities contactor requires a Site Manager / Delivery Agent to play a vital part in the day-to-day delivery of our mainlaying programmes as part of the Anglian Water Alliance. This role involves coordinating with engineers, highways authorities and developers to plan and manage field resources, while ensuring health and safety standards are met and all work is delivered efficiently and in line with CDM and temporary works requirements.

- Coordinate with design teams to apply principles of prevention from the outset of each scheme
- Maintain high standards of water hygiene in line with POSWSH requirements
- Prepare essential CDM documentation, including construction phase plans, risk assessments and method statements
- Supervise site activities and carry out audits for health, safety and quality compliance
- Promote a proactive safety culture, supporting near miss reporting and learning across the team
- Liaise with developers and ensure their expectations are clearly understood and met
- Manage third-party interactions to reduce disruption and maintain effective delivery
- Support a right-first-time approach to minimise customer contacts and improve satisfaction
- Attend commercial meetings and contribute to performance, cost and improvement discussions
I’m looking for someone with a good understanding of water mains construction and the regulations around water quality. You should have a strong commitment to health and safety compliance, as well as experience leading or supervising field teams.
You’ll need to hold a NRSWA Supervisor accreditation and ideally have completed SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH training. Temporary Works Supervisor training and a solid awareness of CDM regulations would be an advantage. Strong communication and organisational skills will also be key, as you’ll be working closely with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites.

Supervisor (Water)
The Role
Utilities Supervisor (Water) are the vital link between the field teams and senior management. I am looking for experienced leaders to help deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality operations.
As a Supervisor on the Anglian Water Alliance, you’ll oversee the performance of our field resources on the maintenance and repair contract. Working closely with multiple stakeholders, you’ll ensure projects run smoothly – from planning work and controlling plant and labour to managing risks and keeping everything compliant.
This is a fast-paced environment, your health & safety expertise and organisational skills will be put to great use. You’ll lead the field teams, making sure they have the guidance, resources, and mentoring needed to deliver a right first time service while promoting a Zero Harm safety culture.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
- Onsite management of repair teams carrying out reactive water leaks and maintenance.
- Maintain regular contact with dig teams to ensure safe working and access to necessary resources.
- Liaise with Highways and other stakeholders to keep operations running without disruption.
- Order and manage plant and water fittings.
- Overcome site restrictions to progress jobs efficiently.
- Manage KPIs, compliance checks, workbaskets, and performance reviews.
- Monitor and reduce aborts, re-work, and traffic management fines.
- Oversee employee training and ongoing development.
- Complete timesheets and ensure all administration is accurate and timely.
What We’re Looking For…
You’ll be an experienced supervisor with a strong background in managing onsite water repair teams and a solid understanding of the water and construction industry. You will hold SMSTS, a Water Hygiene Blue Card, and NRSWA Supervisor accreditation, alongside a proven health and safety track record. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
You’ll be confident in leading teams, managing resources, and solving problems under pressure. You’ll be organised and proactive, capable of maintaining high standards while meeting tight deadlines. Quantity Surveyor
Due to an increase of workload within their Water sector, our client, a top Civil Engineering and Utility Contractor in the UK have the need for a Quantity Surveyor to work on their Southern Water Framework with projects primarily involving large Mains Replacement works.
Daily duties will include overseeing Sub Contractor Accounts, CVRs/Reporting, Payments and Variations.
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will have solid working knowledge of the NEC Form of Contract along with Civil Engineering and ideally Water experience gained within the Main Contracting environment.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
About the role
As the Assistant Project Manager working on a Thames Water contract you will sit in the Delivery Team and will support the division with the function in the finance Field.
Below is an outline of your main duties, relevant skills, experience and training needed for the role:
- Reporting to the client and striving to meet their needs. They should ensure the smooth running of the project and work closely with the Programme Manager / Project Manager.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and compliant completion of work under his/her control.
- Be able to prepare and produce project RAMS.
- Ensure best practice is shared across all projects, and shares resource where necessary with other workstreams.
- Ensure that his/her team is continually driving to improve their performance, and that new ideas and innovation are encouraged and developed.
- Ensuring that all plant, materials and subcontract resource is managed and on site as needed
- Report to the Programme/Project Manager/Client weekly on the status of the Project.
- Ensuring the requirements of the Job Packs and Team Packs are being followed.
- Checking training certification and competence.
- Complete and submit site audits and close out actions arising. Completion and submission of Hazard spots.
- Complete PPE checks including head protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, gloves, High visibility clothing. Other PPE as required by task.
- Ensure jobs meet all environmental standards
- Ensure compliance with NRSWA notices and permit conditions.
- Checking of signing, lighting and guarding to ensure compliance with the NRSWA (red book).
- Ensure all permit conditions are met.
- Dealing with all customer issues in accordance with the protocol.
- Day-to-day liaison with the Project Manager regarding complaints & queries.
- Respond to the Escalations team in accordance with the prescribed timescales
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the contract standards.
- Ensure water quality standards are maintained, ensuring pipe ends are sealed, storage of materials, chloros, usage etc.
- Ensure the data integrity of all jobs completed including random dip testing of data including but not limited to; serial numbers (bar codes), co-ordinates, photograph quality on route and task stop-starts times etc.
- Ensure where possible production rates are met reporting any issues or slippages to their manager.
- Ensure all gangs are completing all data fields on the system and posting the required photographs.
- Ensure all project data and evidence is collected, collated and correctly stored.
- Jeopardy management of jobs prioritising jobs with limited SLA days remaining
- Development and maintenance of key reports to monitor and drive performance
- Ensure the day-to-day compliance management including problem solving & resolution of issues.
- Ensure jobs are health, safety, quality and environmentally compliant in accordance with legislations, procedures and standards.
- Ensure any issue or problem encountered are notified to / escalated to your line manager.
- Promote the highest levels of integrity within the business, demonstrate professionalism and uphold the code of conduct at all times.
- Engage with Contractors and Highway authorities where needed.
