We’re looking for a client-side Quantity Surveyor with the expertise to help shape some of the country’s most significant energy storage projects.
Who we’re looking for
- Quantity Surveyor with strong client-side or consultancy experience.
- Background in power networks / HVDC / energy infrastructure highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with procurement, estimating and database-driven benchmarking.
- MRICS status preferred – but deep sector knowledge is just as valuable.
- Confident communicator, able to challenge and advise at a senior level.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading cost planning, benchmarking and estimating for major battery storage projects.
- Supporting procurement and tendering – from strategy to contract award.
- Delivering robust commercial advice across both pre-contract and live project delivery.
- Working closely with engineers, project managers and client leadership to drive value.
- Leveraging data and cost intelligence to bring clarity to a rapidly evolving sector.

My client is a global advisory firm seeking a proven technical expert witness to act as the named Expert on major UK and international disputes, leading the continued growth of their established, and successful Technical Expert Services division.
- Act as the independent Expert on complex, high-value cases. Author CPR/PD35 and tribunal-compliant reports
- Lead evidence preparation with a dedicated forensic support team
- Work across defects, negligence, Building Regs/CDM, D&B/EPC contracts
