The business was established in 2009 and now enjoys a turnover of £15m per annum backed by a high volume of negotiated and repeat business.

Owing to business growth our client is looking to secure the skills and services of a talented SHEQ Manager to operate from their HQ in Herts.

This role offers genuine opportunity to step up into a senior management role within a very ambitious business.

Purpose of the position The SHEQ manager oversees the safety, health environment, and quality assurance side of the business, He/she will develop, manage, supervise and coordinate work systems to ensure that the production or services of the company meet the highest quality standards and that the working practices of the company are delivered to the 18001 Safety Standards implemented.

 

Reporting to the Company Director all instances of non-compliance. Day to Day operations to lead, develop and maintain Office and Project SHEQ management programmes and systems in written and online format recording and delivery through face-to[1]face contact, communication and team briefing.

 

To support line management in delivering Site SHEQ objectives. Principal responsibilities Although not all encompassing the following are the expected duties for the Health and Safety Manager, reporting to the Project & Managing Directors.

Mechanical Construction Manager

Job – Large commercial office space – Cambridge

Duties:

  • Liaison with client/upper management to ensure project is delivered on time and in budget
  • Management of subcontractor labour and overseeing allocated M&E packages
  • Liaison with Site Manager/Supervisors to ensure that project is being delivered as effectively as possible both operationally and commercially
  • Attend client meetings
  • Representing the business in a professional manner to the client and key stakeholders alike
  • Quality Assurance and Management: Ensuring that the fit out of apartments is in line with client specification
  • Enforce and comply with company health and safety regulations
  • Commissioning/witnessing

Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Awareness
  • Proven track record of delivering large scale projects for blue-chip M&E subcontractors
  • Ability to work to a tight programme
  • Experience of delivering mixed projects such as residential, offices and retail
  • Strong leadership: you will be in charge of keeping a large work force motivated to deliver the project to the highest standard

Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • CSCS Managers Card
  • First Aid

Electrical Construction Manager

Our client based in Cambridge, one of the UK’s leading M&E Contractors, are urgently seeking a Electrical Construction Manager to join their team.

Duties:
