Based from site offices in Bermondsey and reporting to the Project Manager, daily duties will include preparation of RAMs and Task Briefings, Overseeing Labour and Contractors on site, Health & Safety and Material Ordering.

To be considered, you MUST be an experienced Site Manager and hold CSCS, SMSTS and ideally First Aid to your name. You MUST also have experience in Groundworks and Paving works, this is essential.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor x 3

Due to an increase in workload within their Rail and London Underground sectors, our client, a family owned and highly respected Contractor is seeking to bolster its Commercial Team and add 3 Assistant/Quantity Surveyors to join their team based from South East London.

Works typically include Signalling Upgrades, Track Replacements, Depot Upgrades, Station Modifications and HS2 works.

Daily duties will include Cost Reporting, Issuing Payments, Timesheet administration, Assisting with Budgets and CVRs and attending regular progress meetings with Senior Management.

To be considered for these roles, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying or be currently on a day release whilst employed. You will also have 3-5 years experience within the Rail, LU or Construction sectors.

MEP Site Manager (Days & Nights)-South London- to £400 per shift / CIS

Due to the recent award of Fit Out works on Rail arches in South London, our client are looking for a Day and Night MEP Manager to oversee these works.

The scheme involves the fit out of units in the Rail arches and is mainly electrical with some mechanical aspects also. Duties will include overseeing Contractors on site and pushing the works to tight deadlines, health & safety and reporting.

To be considered you will be an experienced MEP Manager who has experience in Fit Out with Rail interface an advantage but not essential. You must also have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS certification to your name.  In return a top day rate is on offer with CIS accepted and an initial 3-4 month contract.

  • To deliver a high quality project.
  • To assist and manage the performance of the trade contractors.

  • Drive procurement both for compliance and target cost efficiencies
  • To assist the team on site with checking technical information.

Essential Key Skills

  • Exceptional presentations skills. Develop on time client presentations including mood boards, rendered plans and elevations done in CAD and coloured in Photoshop, digital material palettes.
  • Produce floor plans, elevation and joinery drawings using AutoCAD
  • Manage all FF&E procurement for the projects including independent and pro-active sourcing of goods
  • Manage the budget, suppliers, orders and invoicing for the project
  • To take responsibility for project deadlines, ensuring they are met and projects are structured to achieve deadlines
  • Conduct detailed research into products, services and suppliers and produce recommendations for Kit Kemp, Director of Design
