Phil Leggatt fell into recruitment in 1999 after finally giving up on his flagging professional football career.

Lego is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Solution and heads up the Building Services Contracting arm of the business where he has built an enviable reputation with both clients and candidates.

Phil has had just two employers throughout his career to date, demonstrating his upstanding integrity and loyalty within Building Services.

During his spare time Phil will be swinging a golf club, keeping his 2 boys entertained or will be found with the remote control flicking between sport channels.


Solution – Managing Director

2006 to Present

I was a founding Director of Solution that first started trading in January 2006. I set up from nothing and manage the Building Services Contracting Division.

I established and approved preferred supply status with many leading organisations whilst continuing to build all long term relationships which I have developed throughout my career in supplying freelance and permanent staff.

I have increased the sales of the Building Services division every year Solution has been operating both personally and within my team.

I offer clients a broad range of recruitment solutions including training & development programmes, contingency and retained search.

I hold full responsibility for the management of all Commercial activities with Solution Recruitment Ltd including the accounts department, credit control, payroll, negotiation of fees etc.

Ongoing adherence to recruitment law, REC, and eligibility to work in the UK (Checking of passports / Visas / Qualifications)

Henry Recruitment Ltd – Building Services Divisional Manager

1999 to 2006

New to recruitment, I took over the running of managing a building services contracting division supplying both permanent and freelance staff.

I successfully developed and maintained long term relationships with many leading industry organisations using natural business development skills and as a result of providing quality staff.

As a Divisional Manager I became an instrumental part of the management team making key decisions in relation to the growth and development of the company including interviewing, managing and guiding consultants and setting and achieving team targets.

I achieved impressive sales and team results earning many internal recognitions and awards. Responsibilities included ongoing adherence to recruitment law and eligibility to work in the UK (Checking of passports / Visas/Qualifications).
