CV

Solution – Director

2006 to Present

I joined Solution when it was established in January 2006 and was brought on to set up the Architectural and Interior Design sector of the business.

The desk concentrates on permanent and contract placements to the design arena and targets architectural practices, interior design studios, multi-disciplinary organisations, property developers and end users.

Clients that I have got today have been clients that I have serviced for many years, some of which have become personal friends.

Apart from the day to day running of a team/my desk, I have also taken a lead role in all of Solution’s award winning marketing literature and am very much seen as the face of Solution at industry awards dinners and networking events.

Mace People – Executive Search Consultant

2005 to 2006

I was employed in 2005 to start the Architectural desk by Mace People who were the internal recruitment arm the Mace Group.

This was a start up business by Mace and was designed to keep all recruitment internal and managed themselves. I was in sole charge of establishing their Architectural arm whilst also still servicing architectural practices in their requirement for Permanent staff.

Whilst at Mace People I was instrumental in the growth of the team that grew to circa 20 staff (based from both London and Brighton) with the Architectural side of the business becoming a cornerstone of this.

I was approached by Solution to join them to play a fundamental role in the growth of the business.

Henry Recruitment Ltd – Recruitment Consultant

1998 – 2005

I started at Henry in 1998 where I joined them straight from leaving college and was initially employed as a junior consultant focusing on the civil engineering sector dealing with both contract and permanent placements.

In 2002 I was asked by Henry Recruitment Ltd to start an Architectural desk for the business, a challenge which I accepted.

I grew the Architectural desk for Henry Recruitment from a standing start into a fully functional/profit making desk before I left for Mace People.

Henry Recruitment Ltd provided me the foundations to start my career.
